About Us
Grassroots 4 Change is a youth-led initiative started by Schreiber High School students who began asking simple but powerful questions about lawn chemicals, environmental health, and community impact. We raise awareness about how everyday landscaping choices affect our community, and how changing our lawn care practices can protect our children, pets, and the health of Manhasset Bay. Through research, education, and community action, we empower homeowners to explore safer, more sustainable alternatives and prove that small changes, made together, can create lasting change in Port Washington.
